Anyways…
I’ve been wearing these prescription-less glasses for 2 days now at work.
In the first day, it was already outed to 3 co-workers that they were prescription-less. They’ve ridiculed me a bit but have agreed to keep the prescription-less aspect a secret.

I’ve been getting a lot of compliments with my glasses on.
One of them was: “You look more mature. Less gamey.” – I’m going to assume that gamey means like a young gamer….and not the more accurate definition of a sweaty, musky dude.
Apparently with these glasses on, I’m more intelligent, more professional, and more competent. Like Glasses Warren is Superman – capable of everything and Regular Warren is…well, Regular Warren – gets distracted a lot and acts the fool.

I wonder how much ridicule I’d get when people know these glasses are prescription-less. Like, I would absolutely love to wear my regular glasses, no contacts, except it looks terrible on me. The frames look great but the lenses really mess it up. But I want to wear glasses because they look good on me…like wearing a tie to work !

Seriously, I’ve conditioned everyone to assume I don’t have glasses. Wearing glasses is like tucking in my shirt, without tucking in my shirt. I’m suddenly +10 more professional.

I’m at work still (11PM)…tho I came in at 1:30PM…I have a conference call at 11PM so I decided to stay at work and develop in ASP.NET for a project I have. But then the server went down…but I still have to stay here because of the call…so I’m blogging…because I have nothing better to do.

/off to wriite another draft…unless the server comes back up and I can get back to developing :'(
