Chronicle of flu (for future reference)

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at 11:15 pm

Wow, I’m such a nerd. I wanted to chronicle the symptoms on my sickness….for future reference.

I had written it all down (after I was sick as I had absolutely no energy to do it during) but it’s wasn’t very easy to read that way.
….Not that this chart is easier :/

I wanted to note that
1. I got chills 3 times as my temperature increased. For the second and third chills, I remember my body cooling off, sweating for no reason other than to kool off from its set point of 39.2 C.
2. I did not have any sore throat throughout this entire sickness, which is really weird.
3. I was really sick for a good 3 full days, where the first 1.5 days were pretty much entirely spent in bed, 36/37 hours….sleeping with socks, and a sweater, and 2 heavy blankets.

This flu hit at the best, and worst possible time:
Best because: work wasn’t really affected. Nothing was really affected. I had planned on playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time or studying for these days and the fact that I couldn’t isn’t a big loss.
Worst because: it was during the best time for relaxing…also, I had to stay home during New Year’s Eve. Also, I left my PS3 at work so it meant: no PS3 gaming, no watching any DVDs, no watching any Blu-Rays, not being able to watch anything on the big TV (and lay on the couch, vegetable like…). I basically just lay in bed for most of these 3 days as my thoughts ran away with me.
